So, I haven't really been on here that much - but that's because my new internet (which is supposed to be faster than my other one), doesn't like this site... and it just annoys me. I took a kind of break from this site and moved on to some other stuff (no new art accounts, though). Hmmm.... Nothing terribly important has happened lately. I've been working on some paintings for my boyfriend, but that's about it. I'm also interested in surreal art, now. Anyways, thanks for dealing with my absence. ttyl

Finally, a moment to just relax and relive my trip... I actually got back last week, but my teacher's gave me a lot of make up work to do, so I've been too busy to do anything on here. But, it's spring break now and I can do whatever I want!!! My trip was really fun! I hope everyone was in good spirits while I was gone! Now... on with the update:

First off, I want to apologize to everyone for such late replies and favorites! I just had so much school work to get done. I would literally be doing school work until I went to bed. So, forgive me! Also, I want to thank everyone who wished for me to have a good trip! I really appreciate it!

Okay, so about my cruise: Well, on the way down our bus kept breaking down. Stupid Martz bus line... I had finally fell asleep when our bus started to break down - it was around 2:30 AM!!!! So, it kept dying on the side of the highway. At one point, we had to stop at a gas station for a minute to put something on the engine or whatever. Well, after that, our bus lasted for about 3 miles... then died again. At that point, our driver pulled off the highway and stopped in some forsaken town in front of a gas station called Handyland. -_- So, then we had to eat breakfast after about 3 or so hours of sleep. Then we waited for forever on someone to come repair our bus or for someone to bring us a new one. It got to the point where we weren't sure that we were going to make our cruise!!!! Finally, a rescue bus came! We made the cruise and we were all happy! The ship was amazing and big! I felt my jaw drop when I caught sight of it. The rooms were really nice and the service was extremely kind and helpful. The food was great! Every night, we got a bunch of people to go the Karaoke club. It was funny! Many of my friends sang and my boyfriend did, too! I didn't - I was too nervous! But it was very nice! Every night, at 6 PM, we would all join up for dinner. It was amazing! You got to choose courses and desert. And they had shows. And the whole band got up and danced one night - our principle got angry, but everyone else was cheering us on! lol The island was nice, but too manicured. There was no adventure or really anything to do. I would have much rather stayed on the main land. At least that was interesting. And by interesting, I do mean it. There were some... questionable things going on at night there. It was quite... frightening. lol But, my trip was really fun and I enjoyed every moment of it! I loved being with my band-family and being able to hang out with people I don't normally hang out with! I loved it! I can't wait for next year!

Sorry for my lack of art updates. I just don't really have a lot of time to draw at the moment. I will have a lot more time when summer rolls around!!! However, I'm still working on my Kristen and Robert picture. Also, I have lots of photos to put up from my trip! Some of them are random, but I really enjoyed taking them. I hope to get some art done soon! But I have to focus on school, too! So, I apologize for my lack of updates - be patient please!!!!!! Would anyone like to see a WIP? I could do it if you wanted! Just let me know.

Prom. It's almost here! I'm so excited! And I'm kind of nervous. I won't really know a lot of people, because I'm only a sophomore, and most of the people there will be juniors and seniors... But I look forward to it! I love dressing up! I got my dress fitted today! It's the prettiest thing I have ever seen! ^-^ The funny thing is, my Nana and boyfriend thought I would hate it! So, while I was gone, my parents got two kittens!!!!!! They are SOOOO cute! They are brother and sister. The boy is George and the girl is Charlotte! I love them to death! We rescued them from the pound - they were going to be put down in two days when my parents got them! ^-^ They are very trusting and extremely playful! Especially George. x_x He attacked my legs... and they jump on my had while I'm sleeping. But I love having them around. I'll also put up some pictures I took of them. They are adorable. This will be my shortest journal ever, which should make some of you happy. -coughNICKcough- Anyways, the point of this journal is to alert everyone that I'm leaving for a few days! The day has finally arrived... well, almost. XD I'm leaving for the Bahamas tomorrow! ^-^ I'm sooooooo excited!!!! I'm going to have a blast, because I'm going to be with all of my friends (more like my family - band people will understand how it is when you're with fellow band peeps) and my boyfriend!!!!! And I'm going to get so tan! ^-^ I look a lot better when I'm tan. And I'll be taking some pictures... actually, a lot of pictures. And they'll probably all end up here.... I might need to make some sort of photo account on the web so my pictures don't clutter my gallery. I plan on getting a photo of me for my iD on here, too! So, lots of stuff happening. Good afternoon, everyone! I had some free time, so I wanted to update my journal... I was tired of the other one. Hmmmm... I get bored with things easily. Anyways, continue reading for some totally random and important updates!

It snowed!!!!! I'm so happy! I love the snow. It's so pretty and magical! And more importantly, we got two snow days! One today and one tomorrow! I took some pictures of the snow (before my sisters and I ran around the yard). I'll probably put them up this weekend. *sigh* Everything around here is so pretty when it snows! I had almost forgotten what a thick blanket of snow actually looks like. (where I live, snow is not common).

About two weeks or so ago, I got my first job! ^-^ I love it! It's kind of ironic that it's at a Japanese place, though. I mean, what with my manga/anime obsession and all. XD But it's a really nice place to work! I've already tried some sushi (which was amazing) and everyone is really nice! I had the flu a few days ago, and when I went to work, my boss gave me something to help me feel better! How cool is that?!?!? I was a little scared to drink it at first, but it really did help me stop coughing! ^-^ And when I need help, everyone is really nice about it! I'm just glad that I don't work with some mean snobs who like to make themselves look better by sabotaging fellow employees. That would be awful... And even though I only get minimum wage, it's better than nothing! Hmmmm.... now I just have to figure out what I want to save up for.

I want to extend a very warm thank you to each and every one of my watchers! I've gained quite a few new ones and many favorites since my last update! So, thank you everyone! It really makes me happy to know that people enjoy my art. Especially since I put so much time and effort into each piece! Thank you again! s for everyone! So, lately I've been getting billions of letters from colleges all over the US! It makes me really happy to know that what I'm doing in school is paying off! I work very hard to maintain my GPA and I sometimes feel like it's all for nothing. But now I know why I've been working so hard all these years. And I look forward to getting off on my own and going to college! It's very exciting to me... some people understand why. ^-^

Art update:
So, I've been working on my traditonal style. It's going really well!!!! I'm drawing Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson together. I have the link, so I'll post it when I upload the drawing. I didn't know that traditional drawings took so much time. I've been working on this one project for over a month! But by going slowly and working only when I'm truly inspired, I'm acheiving the best results with my materials! I definitely think that this is the realm I belong in! And so far, my family and boyfriend think that I've been developing this style nicely! So, that helps motivate me to improve even more! I hope to finish it soon, so please, just be patient everyone!

Okay, so here's some really random news:
First, I have a concert this week! I like performing - it's very nice to get out and play some music. ^-^ Second, on March 14th I'll be traveling to a near-by highschool for State Festival for band! I'm very nervous and I hope that we get straight ones again!!! My school is only 2 and a half years old, and so far we've recieved straight ones both years. It's highly possible this year, but you never know! I just hope we maintain our streak! Third, my wonderful boyfriend and myself have been together for six months now! ^-^ I'm so happy! But I don't want to jinx it, so I'll leave it at that! XD And lastly, I'll be traveling to the Bahamas on March 25!!!! I'm definitely taking lots of photos and I'll be posting them!

Suddenly, I was in my school for a stupid show-chior competition (I hate show-chior at the moment) because my boyfriend is in show-band. So, I went down the music hall looking for him. Finally, I found him and then my tail came back because it got splashed again. I was afraid that everyone would notice, but all of the show-chior people were in strange costumes, so Brandon and I just pretended that I was in a mermaid-themed show and twirled around until I go dry and then my tail went away with magical sparkles. Then some dude checked me out (I was in a bathing suit), and I got mad at him. Then some mean girl made a comment about me and it made me sad and I ran away crying. Then Brandon came and found me... then I was somehow on my way to Florida and I was watching whales from my car window.... it was a weird dream....

Evening everyone! It's about 8:00 pm where I live and time is speeding by! It's seems like just a few minutes ago I was stumbling around my room, trying to function after about 6 hours or so of sleep. XD Anyways, like I promised here is a new update! Hopefully this will keep you informed of all the happenings in my life... random and important.

So, first things first.... -clears throat- STEELERS WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!! Now that that's out of my system... XD Yeah, I'm quite happy about that. They've been my favorite team since I was like 2 years old and my dad dressed me in a Steeler's jumpsuit. ^-^ I have a picture of it, too. XD Anyways, I love those guys. They're really awesome, you know? Big Ben, what with a burger named after him! (How cool is that?!?!?!?!) Ward and his cool first name and cute little boy! ^-^ Polamalu and his freaking amazing hair! lol And all of those other great players that just keep our team running! Congrats on winning the Superbowl! You deserved it! My band teacher told me that Pittsburg gave their kids a two hour delay today... those lucky ducks...

Today, something totally awesome happened to me! Well... actually lots of awesome stuff happened today - and on a Monday! First, I got my learner's permit! I didn't miss one single question! And my picture doesn't look too bad. But, um, people who live around me, yeah - watch out. XD I'm eager to learn how to drive! One step closer to freedom!!! And, I'll be more independent. (I like that feeling). Second, I got a SOLO in band! Yeah! I'm very excited. I mean, I'm playing with two piccolos, but I mean, still! It's freaking AWESOME! And it's quite long (to me). I was shaking in class, though. XD But I'm really excited about it, now! Third, the Steelers won! (Yes, you're gonna hear it a lot...)

Okay, I need to apologize to all my watchers... I forgot to load my new picture onto my flashdrive so that I could put it up! I'm very sorry! I didn't mean to, but I was kind of rushing around trying to just get out... Yeah, I'm sorry! I'll try and put it up soon, but I don't know how much time I'll have these next few weeks. So, please, keep faith in me and just be patient! While I'm mentioning my watchers, I want to thank each and every one of you!!!! It makes my day when someone leaves a nice comment about my art or favs a picture or adds me to their watch list!!!! So thank you, watchers - old and new - for supporting me so much! I really do appreciate it! ^-^

IMPORTANT:
I have decided to change styles! I'm not really drawing anime/manga style anymore. I wanted to try something new the other day, so I tried realistic style... and for a first time, it was not that bad. I don't know how to explain it... I just, I felt like I had finally, after all this time, found the style that fits me and my talent. It's pure bliss, like finding the place you belonged the whole time... like realizing you were trying to fit into a group that wasn't the right one for you. It's just... truly amazing how we each fit into our own realm of art. It might be traditional with pencils or digital with a mouse or captured with a camera, but everyone has their certain place that will suit their talent and visions. And if you try something new, you might just find which one you belong to! So pick up a pencil, grab a camera, squirt some paint and try something new! You never know what you might find! ^-^ I know I found something that gave me a huge surprise and caused me to change my style completely! Also, if you have any tips for what type of paper I should use or how to get the best effects with my graphite and charcoal pencils, let me know please!

I'm glad I get to take art next year! I can't wait! It might be my favorite class (along with band, of course)! Unfortunately, I have to take Spanish again... Everyone who knows me pretty much knows I hate Spanish! I just don't like the sound of it... so not pretty... I wish they had Italian at my school! I mean, it's not much different than Spanish, but I think it's much prettier... maybe I'm biased. lol (I'm Italian for those of you who didn't know... although, I probably look more Swedish and German with my blonde hair!) Well, next year's AP classes shouldn't be that hard. Everyone says US History isn't as hard as World History and the teacher of English Language seems nice... yeah. lol
